About Me

Gina is a Product Design Manager at Meta.

She currently manages a team of 5 product designers supporting the Privacy, Contracts, and Legal pillars at Meta, overseeing a portfolio of 25+ products related to the 2019 FTC order. She is responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation, hiring, project prioritization, and building a culture of design excellence. She is driven by embracing the chaos of complex user problems and synthesizing them into insights and smart design solutions through cross-functional partnerships.

Previously as the Design Director at Zola, she was responsible for setting the vision for the user experience from start to finish for Zola’s Invitations, Albums, and Planning Tools product teams. She was accountable for not only UX research and design execution, but building, coaching, and leading her teams to successful business outcomes.

Over the course of her career, she’s designed human-centered experiences for clients including Citi, John Deere, McDonalds, and Unilever across responsive web, native mobile, VR, and robotics. She’s also built expertise making data meaningful, helping brands identify their voice and style through social media, and acting as an ambassador for presentations that don’t suck. Her career began designing for publications by helping them identify a distinct visual style, including working for TIME inc.

A forever-Spartan fan, Gina graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Journalism and Information Technology. You can find her traveling the world’s wine regions, hosting themed dinner parties, and playing consistently inconsistent rounds of golf. She just moved back to the Midwest after 10 years in Chicago and New York City, currently living in Grand Rapids with her husband and their fur-baby Colby.

You can download her resume or email her directly to get in touch. I hear she’s pretty responsive.
